At Kings Cross Bar, Lower Hutt.
The band was booked to play every afternoon for a week in the garden bar however initial gigs were cancelled due to noise complaints. When the gigs resumed the band were overcome by the heat so following performances were conducted under the protection of floppy hats and sun umbrellas. "We dressed stupid anyway so what did it matter?"
